Creating Space Within: an outward journey of inward transformation

Join us for an inward journey of prayer. Spiritual directors Kathy McFaul, Kathy Villemure, Andrea Nelson LeRoy, and Christi Ortiz will provide guided prayer practices as well as opportunities for individual spiritual direction.

What to expect:
 This retreat will include a Contemplative pace with periods of
silent prayer and quiet time for integration and reflection. This
will include among other things, journaling, the Terra Divina
practice and Taize singing.
 All are welcome! The presenters and Directors will lead from a
Christian orientation.
 There will be a limited number of Spiritual Direction
opportunities throughout the day to sign up for.
 Suggested donation is $100 – $300, please pay as you are able. Financial assistance available, no one turned away.
This is a benefit so please offer more if able.
 Please bring your own lunch and any snacks you may want
throughout the day. Water, tea and coffee will be available.
 Bring a journal/notebook for writing.
 Option for walking in nearby James T. Slavin Conservation
Area – dress for the weather.
 All proceeds from this retreat will go to support the good work
of Harmony Woods.

Leaders of this retreat are:

Kathy McFaul – provides spiritual direction, facilitates retreats, and assists with spiritual direction
training programs.

Kathy Villemure – Kathy is a certified Chaplain and has many years of experience within
hospice, hospitals and care center contexts. She is a certified Spiritual Director through Gonzaga
University.

Andrea Nelson LeRoy – Has a back ground in Social Work and in more recent years has been
working as a Spiritual Director. Andrea completed her spiritual Direction training at the Dominican
Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Christi Ortiz – completed her Spiritual Direction training at Gonzaga University and is a therapist and retreat leader.
